Hi, everyone. I'm Lila and I'm Angel Amy. And today we're super excited we have with us, Linda Shane, from an acupuncturist from the access clinic. Some Hi, Lynne. Hello, ladies. Yeah, I'm so excited to have Lynn here, because I actually don't know you like, I don't know, Lynn Nope. So I have pretty much known every guest that we've had. And I love strangers. And I love that there is a stranger in the house. Pretty excited. So I'm gonna get to know Lynn, as you all of you start to listen and get to know her. This is going to be a really exciting, adventurous journey. And I do want to say, I've never tried acupuncture, which is crazy. So we will kind of learn why as we go. But yeah, I'm just so happy to have you here. Lynn. Thank you. I'm really excited to be here. And I do know Lynn. So Lynn, tell us a little bit about what got you into acupuncture. What like every important thing in your life, it was totally by accident. I love that. I love that. Just so designed and meant to be exactly like a Kismet injury moment. So I was working out in a gym and I blew out my knee just it I was in so much pain. And one of the women that I was training with said, Oh, I'm going to see my acupuncturist. Why don't you just come? And I said, all right. And I'm thinking what the heck's and acupuncture? So hobbled, you know, from Copley Square down Huntington forever. It felt like I think it took us an hour to walk there because I was hobbling and then up this four story brownstone thing and into these cavernous dark rooms. And I thought, Oh, my God, where it like, and three hours later, I literally walked out completely healed. I have chills from head to toe. Wow. And I just thought what in the world? Did I just experienced? Because this is crazy. I was really injured, and I really was healed. That's amazing. That's beautiful. Yeah, it was. And so from that moment, I just said, What is this thing called acupuncture? I know, it's 1000s of years old. I know, it came from China. And so I decided to do some volunteering work. Because interestingly, or maybe not. There was a clinic right below my office where I was working. Oh, wow. And the clinic focused in on working with people with HIV and AIDS. And I thought, well, maybe they need to volunteer. And I went down, and I volunteered. And I honestly, I was so moved by working with the population and watching the acupuncturist work with the population that were just truly suffering. And I thought about and I said, you know, these are the best three hours of my week, I'm getting emotional. I'm getting emotional, because I I honestly feel that anyone that works with a community such as the HIV that is such, like a labor of love in coming from such an authentic place within. So like, Thank you for your service that is so beautiful. Well, it really changed my life. I mean, watching such compassion and true relief brought on the faces of these patients. It was just, I thought, you know, I just want to do this. I'm just quitting my job. I'm gonna go to school. And I did. Oh, wow. and I were you in the Pru? I was right next to the Prudential I can see the Prudential so yes, welke moment. I actually take that back. It wasn't the proof was the Hancock Tower. Oh, me too. So I was going to ask you because I'm seeing a high rise. So I was in the Hancock. I'll have to get your dates to see if you were there. Well, I was there in the early 90s. Okay, mid 90s. And then I left to go to acupuncture. So this was not in the 90s Okay, I came on the scene in the late 90s. Okay, I started to work for Boston in the late 90s to for 10 years. Yep. So you 1000s Yeah, so I was gone from from Boston by 96. So you know that the that commute and the whole thing. We have a lot in common. Oh my god. Stranger and the wind tunnel between St. James St. Clarendon It was frightening right literally you could be blown away. You could don't follow it that hairspray girl. Yeah, like no, it's going it's getting ugly. Yeah. Like if it rained and like you're don't even try don't have no there's no there's no point right? So, okay, so you, you were feeling the love and you were you were with this community. So what happens next? And then I went to acupuncture school. So where do you do that? Like, where do you Well, at the time, New England School of acupuncture was located in Watertown. Awesome. And since it's been absorbed by the college pharmacy, New England College pharmacy, oh, wow, Mr. Yeah, it's kind of sad. But anyway, I graduated in 99. And then I opened a practice in Amesbury, and I've been in practice ever since that's amazing. So when you first quit your job and say, I'm going to acupuncture school, what was the reaction of the people around you? Like, what? What's acupuncture? Yeah, especially in the 90s. Yeah. And, but I'm that person who just does what she wants to do. And I love that about you. And that's great. I just, it was there was no, there was no going back. There was no going back. That's amazing. Yeah. So I think in life, you listen to those gut instincts. Because that's your inner that's your internal compass. You know what's right for you? And then you just walk that path, and it felt right to you. Yeah. Okay. So why part of acupuncture? Like weird, I want to know about like, the connection? Like, what part of that modality Do you really connect to from from like, within you? That's no one's ever asked that question before. That's a really good question. So I'm deep Lynn. Yeah, no, that's really good. So the, the energy of the organs is fascinating to me, okay. So the liver has a certain energy, the spleen, the heart, the liver, the gallbladder, all your internal organs have their own energies, and their own jobs. Well, we know that from Western medicine, they all have a job. But in Eastern medicine, they have a unique job unto themselves. And then there's a pathway that connects that organ throughout the body. So one of my favorite stories is, is when you deal with someone with a missing organ, let's say their gallbladder, yeah, Ryan's missing girlfriend, so. So they'll say, Well, I still get this pain. And this pain shouldn't be here anymore, because I don't have my gallbladder anymore. I said, but when they took up a gallbladder, they didn't take out the pathway. Oh, wow. So the energy is still in the pathway. I just got chills. So that means that this woman is speaking the truth. Telling the left side of me just got chills. Yeah, they don't take out the pathway. No. So it's an energetic pathway. And even for an amputee, they don't take away the energetic pathway. So they can still that whole Phantom. Yes, yes. You know, amputations they still feel the limb. Yeah, it's because energetically, they the energy still there. Even though it's not part of the limb. It's just like, when I go into someone's house, and they're say, their dog passes, and I can still feel the dog present in the home or a person. So when we enter a room being energetic beings, we have energy, and our energy is given off into the room. And when you leave the room, your energy is still in the room. So that's when you hear a bunch of spiritualist say, I need to energy clear my house. Yeah, I need to, I need to say, I need to open a Windows because I want to get it all the heck out. Right. Yeah. So that it works for for positive energies and also works for negative energies. And so that's similar to my world. So I appreciate that. Yeah. And I can see that connection. Yeah, I so because your audience is who they are, I can actually talk about this sort of stuff. But so a lot of times people will be lying in a treatment. And I'll leave the room. And then we'll say, but when you just somehow then you just came back and you You did this to the needle. And I know I haven't actually gone back over again. that'll explain to them I said, Well, you know, sometimes others help. something extra needed to happen. Somebody did so cool. I think you should tell them. Well, you know, there's a there's actually a portrait in my office of my best friend who passed she we went to acupuncture school together. So Kate is always in treatment rooms with me. Kate's moving those needles, right? She's like, you know, she wasn't The best, the best. Yeah, so Kate will come in and clean up my mess and, and then we'll agree that I'm still on this plane and that she'll be on that plane helping me out. That's really cool. So so they can kind of feel the needles. I remember. So once I left Boston, I actually went to massage school. Oh, cool. And I am I give the worst massage ever. Right. But again, it was a calling it was a path to take me into the land of energy. And I remember being in a polarity class. And I was the demo person on the table. And my teacher, she was I felt two hands on my head. But I could feel her on my feet. Right. And so I told her at the end, and she said, Amy, that was your spirit guide. And so it's just so beautiful how, whether you're, you know, intuitive psychic, we all have innate knowings. And everyone has the ability to feel these things. And feel healers around us that aren't on this plane. Right. So neat. Very neat. What do you think of that? Lila? I love it. Yeah. I love it. It's so sounds so cool. So when you when when Lin has worked on you? Yes, yes. Let's talk a little bit about your experience. So I went to Lynn, I think initially about my digestion like my stomach, IBS. So with Lynn, I've been to a couple of different kinds of acupuncture. I've done community acupuncture, where you kind of sit in a chair, you're in a group, and the needles are usually like from your elbows down your feet. And there was always one on the top of my head. In between your eyes. I think it's the stress one she wouldn't really tell us. I usually call that the tea kettle point. So it actually lets the steam out of the tunnel. But I've also done you know where I've had needles done all across my back and they put something on there. Some Moxa Yeah, yes, they light that. Yeah, I don't know what any of that is. That was totally different to it's called. So pause there for me and everyone else that does Okay, her Moxa No. moksa so it's moxibustion. moxibustion is an herb arredamento For Garrus I believe Artemesia vulgaris, and it is, it treats pain. It's very moving. We use it to actually turn breech babies. Oh, yeah, chill. So it brings the heat down through the needle and into into the structure of the body so that you get a nice deep heat treatment. And yeah, it's it's a great are. Okay, that's great. Okay, keep going. I'm sorry. No. So learning as I go, I mean, these were the just the different ways that I've had it done. lenses. A lot of it was because my knees down. And my stomach. Yeah. Yeah. So I practice more of a traditional Chinese medicine style. And I incorporate Chinese herbs. With my treatment for some people, some people just want herbs, some people will do both. Some people just want acupuncture. But some people do zero balancing, especially if the acupuncture is not moving. In the in the way that I think it could, then we work a little bit differently. So what are the different types of acupuncture? Because you mentioned Do you practice Chinese? Are there others? Yeah, I also do a non insertion, Japanese style of acupuncture where the needle doesn't actually go in the body. It's called toI Hari. And that is for people who are either very young and they're needle phobic, or people that are needle phobic just to begin with. But also for people's energies, who are their energy travels very superficially. So their energy is very easily influenced. So you don't even actually need to insert the needle in order to affect the same change. So what do you do with the needle? It looks very like looks like poetry. It's kind of cool. So I have so many questions we'll use we'll use the same points. But that we I'll use a gold needle. In fact, I was using a gold needle a lot with my equine clients. Where I would, because horses energy is just, I mean, they can sense Madrigal. Yeah, they sent you from many yards away. And you can So I when I treat horses, I actually don't use insertion, I just use a non insertion style of acupuncture. And that's really cool. So for the very energetically sensitive, I don't insert needle, because I don't need to. Oh, I love this. So cool. Japanese is a non essential needle technique. Well, Japanese is a very shallow insertion or a non insertion. Okay. And then Chinese is insertion. Yeah. Is there a third one? Well, then there's different modalities where you just use the ear. Oh, or just the hand in Korean. I don't have any training Korean hand acupuncture, but certainly the auricular Yes, I did some work with them working in a drug and alcohol detox center, where I treated patients going through detox. Mostly doing ear acupuncture. Oh, wow. But also somebody acupuncture. So in. I don't know if you know this Lin, EFT, practitioner tapping love tapping me to emotional freedom technique. And there are acupressure points on the air air. And I bet it's similar. Well, yeah, all of the EFT points or acupuncture points. Yes. Yeah. So this is actually I have to just tell this quick little story. But um, when I first met Amy, I had been going to acupuncture, and the acupuncture said I was going to was moving. So she was leaving. And then Amy and I were at a school function like a party and the kid. And I had said, like, Oh, something about acupuncture. And Amy said, oh, you should try tapping because it works along the same meridian. Exactly. Acupuncture. Yep. And that was I was like, Oh, I'm in school. So the truth goes like this is that Lila and I were talking in a group of other women. And when I started to lean into talking about energy, and how it connects back to the emotions, they it was like, the sea parted. Like they immediately got up and moved away. Right? I tapping away. Yeah. And this is a lesson for everyone. You when in situations like that, you just you drop right into your authentic place within, and you hold yourself and you stick with the conversation. And you focus on your intention, and not everybody and everyone else's reaction. Because let's talk about what happened to you after you started talking. I'm tapping. I loved it. Right. Yeah. And back got back up. It was much better. He said the recipe everybody. Yeah, she did see, she tapped in. You had an awesome chiropractor at the time in in acupuncture. Yep. And yeah, so it was a it was, I was I stuck with it with Lila, because I could feel that a piece of her recipe was the emotional connection. Where there needed to be a little emotional healing, which that's what tapping offers. Yeah, right. Yeah. Now, that leads me to Lynn, to kind of explain why I've never done an acupuncture is because I haven't found a practitioner that can link everything together with the emotional component. So I'm very rooted in having natural abilities to kind of know, when someone has a problem, whether it's physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, I can see the root of it. So naturally, I would need to I would need to find another healer, that was able to get to the root of it as well, in order for me to benefit from it. Yeah. So how I explain who I am to people, is that I'm an advocate for the body. So we are, you know, we're up in our sort of heads a lot. We're in our spiritual brain, we're in our emotional brain, but that the body tends to be, I don't know, maybe taken for granted, maybe ignored, maybe not paid attention to enough maybe not cared for enough. And my job is to listen to the body, and then convey that information back to you. And then you Oh, oh, geez, maybe, maybe I do need to sleep more than four hours. Or, maybe I could stop lifting this in this particular way. Because I'll say you know, your body doesn't really like it. Or not eat two Oreos before you go to bed. Because that was me last night when I roll rail here. Yeah. So So yeah, choice. Oh, But at times, we just, you know, we're so interested, and those other realms that we kind of forget about this plane and this vessel that we have to walk around in. Yep, yes. And then we do load it up too much. You know, like, I'm guilty. I, when my boys aren't really ready to help me lift all that hay and stack that, hey, I just do it myself. And then my back hurts. And I say, Well, why is my bad hurting? Yeah, because you lifted the hay by yourself and you take the time to have a good conversation about guys. Can you just maybe help me? Because I really shouldn't do this by myself. Right. So now she's talking about Lila tuning in to what she needs. Yes. Well, what I was gonna say was that, you know, through like, endurance training and everything like it people will tell you like, what are some of the slogans right? Shut up leg, like, ignore your body, like, literally are trained to ignore pain. It's happening. Right. So and your pain? Your body has two ways of communicating pain and dysfunction. Yeah, correct. So if you don't pay attention, it's just gonna get louder. Right, right. Yeah. So it started out with just tiny little pain and that occasionally, and then you go on and you ignore it, and then you just push through it, just push through that pain. And then it gets louder. And then it's like, Well, she didn't pay attention to the low back pain. What if I took out her hip? Right, so so. So this is baby boomer and Gen X, right? And some millennial energy, and then it started, when we get into Gen, my favorite Gen Z, six to 24. In the little app, baby alphas, they're in tune with what we're talking about. Like they know I need to stop, I can remember I most you know, I have a 14 year old. And when she was little, she would be on a playdate. And she would be she would remove herself. And the little like the little child would say, we had Julie ago, and I'd say she's just gonna go upstairs for a few minutes, and then she'll rejoin you. She would actually remove herself, and then rejoin smart. And it she's still like that. And it's just something that they're teaching us. Yeah. If we're listening if, if, if we choose to listen, right? Because because we go, go, go go right until we're completely overwhelmed. And then I could start to lean into how then most of us start to numb the pain, whether it's to Oreos on the couch, or a bottle of vodka, right? We could just go on and on. Right? So you're on the money when you're onto something. So I just wanted to say really quickly that I think it's important that the needles don't hurt, right? So anyone who's afraid of needles like that to everybody says like, Is it painful? No, it's it's not. It's, I absolutely love the phone calls will someone will say, All right, you know what, I've been putting this off, you're my last hope. And I'm even willing to try acupuncture. And I said, Oh, my gosh, you're so lucky. Because you're not even going to feel the needles, you're going to feel like, did I just have a massage? But no one touched me. Yeah, I would agree with totally. I needed to hear that because I don't love needles. No, I, I don't really love physical pain. But who does? I mean, some people can push when we talk about like being at the gym, and like push through that feeling a lot more than others, but I definitely have not picked acupuncture over the needles. So I'm glad you said that. There's you don't bring it in, right? That's why you know, yes. Well, the reason that they don't hurt is because when you're when you go to the doctor and you get an injection, well, they are injecting something. So that needle has to have multiple points of insertion because it's a hollow piece of metal, right? an acupuncture needle is really like a pin. So it's solid, okay, with a single point of insertion. So if you've ever plucked an eyebrow, it's not even gonna be half of that. Okay, that's hopeful. Yeah. I like that. It's all right. And then you so then Lynn comes in, she puts the needles we'll talk about where she decides to put them but the needles and then you like snoozy and they're, like heat on you and there's wonderful like ocean sounds. It's like you're out. Yeah, most people do actually fall asleep. How long is an average session? You're probably On the table a good 4550 minutes. Okay. Yeah. And is this covered by any insurance yet? Yeah, actually many, many PPO plans will have acupuncture as a benefit. I have a feeling mine does. I take advantage? Yeah. I have a feeling mind does I actually take people's What's it H F O to set the health savings? Yes. Yes. For tapping? Yeah. In that goes through, which is really exciting. So it's it's neat to see that insurance is starting to recognize this as preventative care. Yeah, too. Yeah. Yeah. Are there different size needles? There are so depending upon where the issue is. So obviously, when I do facial acupuncture for like things like, why don't like my wrinkles, they're really tiny, short, tiny needles. And for people who have even know that was an option, wait a minute why am I not getting? Because you don't have any wrinkles. But then there are longer needles for areas of the body, like going into the buttocks. So you know that deep piriformis muscle? Yeah, you know, you go in there. So you know, we might be going in a good inch or two. Yeah, not on the trunk of the truck. So does that make a difference? Like what you know, you won't feel it anymore? Okay. Yeah. Because really, the the nerve endings are right below the surface of the skin. So you could go in as deep as you need, and you're not going to feel it. When you can, can we now lean into Lila? Can we lean into a little bit about like, how she decides like where it's okay. So so when you someone comes to you? I'm sure there is a few minutes of like, what do you have going on? Yeah. What do you want to work on? I'm sure there's a quest exactly what I say. What do you want to work? Yeah. And then they'll say what they want to work on. Okay. And I keep that in the back of my mind. And then they lie down. And then I feel their pulses, because their pulses, ultimately tell me what I need to work. Hold there. So pulse is like your heartbeat pulse. Yep. So your wrist pulse. So everyone has representation in their pulses of all the internal organs that we've got. Okay, so on the right side, we call that your chi side or your energy side. And that's the spleen in the stomach. It's the kidney pulses, the lungs in the large intestine, the left liver, gallbladder heart. So you can pretty much access any pulse that you need by going to a specific side of the body. I've learned something new. That's really neat. So that tells you now what's highest and best right to work on. Right? So they may say, Oh, I'm having digestive problems. Yes. And then I'll feel the pulses. And I'll say I was a little excess in the stomach. I feel that there's a little deficiency going on in the liver. I feel that so then I choose liver points, stomach points on the body to affect treatment. And then while someone's lying on the table, I can check in with the pulses and say, oh, yeah, no, it's feeling better. Things are moving in the right direction. Are you checking pulse with your hands? Yeah. With my fingers. Okay. Yeah. Awesome. And then, so then that tells you kind of where to go. Have you had anyone that starts to have an emotional release? While they're laying there? Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah, for sure. And I always let people know that. It's energy. Absolutely. And it's moving. And it's okay. So I would look at them and back you up and say in this release, right now, it's going to change your life. Yes, that's when the magic starts to happen. Yeah, right. For sure. I've seen I mean, I can't talk about stories because they're personal, right. But I have seen absolutely transformative moments with someone on the acupuncture tale. It's really humbling right and let's talk about your own. So when your knee was healed, yeah, at at on some level, there was an emotional, spiritual, energetic shift, because by the time it gets into the physical, it has now gone through Oh, yeah, all those moving parts, right? Yeah, knees, you know, in some, in some realms knees are all about transition. They are how well do we transition from one. And I knew I needed to make a change professionally what I was doing, and that it was time for me, but I didn't know where I was, what was going to happen? So look at that you the thing that healed you ended up being or the thing that offered you healing I should say right ended up being the path. Yeah. So see everybody how it finds you totally finds you I almost want to say just stop looking. Like just stop looking. And just be and be open and it will find you. Yeah, be receptive and will be receptive. Yeah. To your highest and greater good, right. Yeah, definitely. Yeah. Yeah. So then tell us a little bit about the herbs. So those work. They're complementary to acupuncture? Yeah. So, you know, in China, not a lot of acupuncture is practiced. Really? Yeah. Look at. In fact, I had a Chinese woman come to me from China. And she said, What's acupuncture? And I said, Oh, really? It's from your culture? Wow. Yeah. Because their medicine is herbal. Their original medicine is herbal medicine. Well, and I had understood that in Chinese or in China, when they practice acupuncture, it's much more of a community style as woman said to me, like, you're just gonna sit in a chair. Yeah, it's gonna be not even quiet, like people are gonna be talking or whatever. And you're gonna sit there, right. So when I first went into practice, I said, you know, I'm going to practice authentically, I'm just going to open a shop, say, Come on in. And, and I did, and people just came on it. And so I practiced, and then I started the first community acupuncture clinic in probably Massachusetts. That's awesome. And I started it back in the early 2000s. And I took no appointments. And I just said, Come on in. And if they needed herbs, I went into my pharmacy put together herbs, I put people in chairs, I put people on tables. I didn't just treat from the knees and the elbows down. If you had sciatica, I threw on a table and I said, you're gonna need to wait 25 minutes, and I'm working over here. And I was like, That person spinning the 12 plates. Yeah. And just, and then 10 years later, I said, I think I'm tired. I'm just gonna take appointments now. So yeah, the hard part was when I had to put together herbal stuff. At the same time as then I gotta go change needles, and thank God for my dog, my dog would come to clinic. Marie, everyone loved Marie. And Marie would be the greeter he'd everyone would come in, and Marie would be sweet Mary, and then he check on people. And then he'd come find me and look at me with that tilting his head like, she's been on the table like an hour. You got people waiting. Oh, okay. All right. And then I go, I love that change things around. Marie was the real boss, Marie Moran the clutter? Yeah. Everyone loved Marie. So, so yes, I have larger pharmacy. And then when people are willing to drink the stinky tea, because it doesn't taste good, unless you need it. Now. That's the beauty of herbs. So if you really need these herbs, and they're really resonant with your condition, somehow, in a crazy way, you really enjoy the taste. Are you hearing this Andy? That's my husband, because there'll be a tea and then he'll say, I can't drink that ever again. And I'll say, I'll look. And it's like the one he needs the one he just connected it. Yeah, I'll just put words Yeah, in my interest. But if Andy kept drinking it, it would he'd get he would actually start saying, dude, are you going to get more of that tea for me? Because I think about Wow, that's fascinating and is fast. Yeah. Is it all teas? Hills? Yeah, no, there are pills do your best. But the true authentic experiences that you know, is you take the raw or so there's a wonderful practitioner BJ way down in Austin. What's the best experience? You don't make an appointment, you literally walk into his storefront and he's got just beautiful herbs everywhere that smells amazing. Wonderful child Chinese practitioner. He'll feel your pulse doesn't talk very much to you. And then we'll write out in characters what your formula is. And then his assistants will put it together for you. Oh, wow. Let's go. Very cool. That's really cool. Yeah, it's very cool. So my My parents are both still alive and my mom is going to be 71 on Sunday. You And she has been into herbs my entire life, like back when no one talked about doing our biology. And so I grew up around herbs. And still to this day I prefer healing through herbs as my number one go to. And so that's kind of like a needed me and I just like, I feel like I needed to give her a little plug. Because, yeah, Paula was very hip in the 70s and 80s Whenever I thought she was a freak show, ya know? She's She's cool. Yeah. So she she definitely leaned into that in till this day. She takes no meds. Zero. Yeah. So and I think it's her her her health and her eating in her herb ology. Yeah, she's in balance. Yes, right. She is now she lost 100 pounds during COVID Oh my Wow. Yeah, she did when 2020 struck right before. She was like, I'm either gonna get, you know, sicker and die, or I'm gonna get healthy. And she got she did. She changed her eating habits. She's very inspiring. That is amazing. Good for her. I mean, she she took that lesson of this experience. Right? She did. Yeah. Let's talk a little bit about the zero balancing that you do, because Lila told me about it. Before I met you. And I was like, that really? Like resonates for me. And so let's just tell people like what it is and we can hear about Lila is experience and yeah, so zero balancing is is a is a it's a bodywork that was devised by Dr. Fritz Smith, and he's in his 90s now living out in California, and he still teaches and he has zero balancing Association and where you can get certified and all that kind of thing. And most people go into zero balancing are people that are body workers, some physical therapists, some acupuncturists, chiropractors, pts. So it's it's a marriage of all of his training as an osteopathic doctor. So he's done Rolfing he's done cranial sacral. He's obviously an osteopath, chiropractic. I think he even studied acupuncture. So he took all of his theories and devised this system called zero balancing. Cool. And the idea is that true to his osteopathic background, that energy is really stored at the bone level. So when you experience a trauma, it's sort of surface right? And then it goes through your soft tissue, connective tissue, and then we'll wind up basically imprinting itself into your bone. And of course, we know our our cells are coming from our bone or bone marrow. So I think that's how we're able to constantly lay down patterns of disorder, or bad memory or bad trauma. And it becomes imprinted in us that that's who we kind of are. Right? So what zero bouncing does, in my experience, is that it on Earth, those imprinted codes, if you will, yeah, those traumas, we talked about this Lila, yeah. And surfaces so that you can release it. So your zero balancer practitioners, number one goal is to allow you to release what needs to be released. Sometimes we go in thinking one thing that we want to release, and another time, something completely different releases, and I just explained that that's what was the priority. And so you again, if I came and I talked about, like, kind of what I'm working, what I want to work on, or what I'm working on personally, you would be able to know where to go on the body to achieve a release. So there is a format that we all follow as a zero balancing practitioner, okay, sort of a formula. So we start at A to Z, and you follow these things. However, probably most practitioners will spend more or less time on one particular area of the body because they're not necessarily drawn to that area. And therefore they put their focus on what's calling them. Okay, beautiful. Yeah, what was your experience Lila? I loved it. So I mean, for me, it was I definitely felt like the manipulation of the joints like for me in your your hip, like if you pull on my leg, pulling that out pulling like my neck, like gently pulling. Yeah. Very gently pulling, but, you know, my neck out and stuff that was great. I was like, I was so relaxed when I was done was amazing felt like release. Oh, yeah. So my trainer, my personal trainer, usually once a week he'll, he'll stretch me out. And I really try to tune in and see what I'm willing to let go of while he's doing it. So that's just a suggestion for people that stretch at home. You know, seeing Lynn would be amazing. But if you're not able to do that, or can afford that you could do some stretches at home and start to tune in to, I guess, listening to the tension and listening to the pain. And just bringing yourself to a point of maybe discomfort, not not pain, pain. If you feel pain, we want to get out of it. Right? But really taking yourself to a point of discomfort in using the breath and breathing through it. Did you breathe at all I love while she was doing it. I'm sure I breathe. Okay. What's interesting is that we actually follow people's breaths. So their eyes are closed. I'm saying this then for that know about that we so we follow people's breath. So we can sense when the energy is almost like a wave. Right? Yeah. So we can feel the energy and then what will happen is, is the person will go okay, so that did that. Okay, now I can move on. And then when like someone like me when like, I kind of stopped breathing, just like stuck energy, right? Yeah. Oh, this Amy needs a little love there. She's a little assistance releasing something from this area. Or just reorganizing it? Not we don't always need to release. But sometimes we need to reorg reorganize it. Okay, good. Oh, that's good. Yeah. Now, I am kind of putting you on the spot here at the end of this little podcast, but I feel like you can see like in your third eye. So sometimes when you work on certain people, are you able to see things? Yeah. So not with acupuncture. Okay. It it's like I'm a different person, when I'm, when I'm when I'm when I when I'm an acupuncturist. I'm performing my role as a diagnostic, Titian and then someone who does the treatment, but with zero balancing a whole lot of stuff. You can like, see and feel and know. Yeah, I see. A lot. I feel like you may channel with acupuncture. Some some. I honestly feel it's different than universal energy. That's kind of like a broad form, when people don't really know who they're connecting to. But you you have some source that you're connecting to. That's directing you through the acupuncture, like Yeah, I feel that. Yeah, sometimes. I'll have the intention that I'm going to do X, Y, and Z. And then I look stand back and I go, Oh, I did. C, D and E. Something else takes over. So yeah, I have an intention for the for the treatment, but I don't always actually end up doing that. Right. I love that. So something else is leading it. Yeah. And then when you were in do zero balancing. Do you feel like it's a higher self connection? Like, is it coming from like, like, inside of you, like a knowing it's a it's like a conversation in my head almost. Okay. So sometimes people show up. Pets show up. Okay. Past life stuff shows up. So that's okay. So that this is the difference. Lila she's traveling through the dimensions. So in the first she's doing this, yes. So I'm going to back up the bus. So in Accu puncture, Lin is channeling in a healer or a collective consciousness that's that is connected to healing. And then when you're in zero balancing, it is more of like, what did I just say to you? switches last. Laurie, you said that she was in the universal? Yes. So then sorry, then she's you're moving through the dimensions, right, which means you're connecting to your, your soul, your higher self. So most likely this is what it means Lynne is that you've been a healer in many lives. And when you go into that zero balancing, you're leaning into those, that part of you that old, that old healing part of you, and it's coming through. Where when, when Lin isn't acupuncture, it's more of like, I'm here to serve. Something that's up, my hands are going up to heaven, up to the other side. And it's coming through you. Yeah. Is any of this landing did this land for you, Lila? Because if it didn't land for you, it's not gonna land for anybody listening? No, totally landed. Yeah. Okay. I just I'm curious if Lynn Holland feels about? Yeah, yeah, no, I, I know, everything that you've said to be. I'm just validating, like, probably what you like it's true. Like, I could feel you were about to explain it from two different places. Like when you're in acupuncture, it's coming from one way, when you're, you're in zero balancing. That's beautiful, in that I work similar. So sometimes I'm with the angels. Sometimes I want the Christ consciousness. Sometimes I'm with Melchizedek. And yeah, I just kind of like know where I'm going to get what, who's male kills? Oh, we never talked about now kills. Oh, I just yelled that into the microphone. So now kill the duck reigns, the seventh dimension. Gen Z is connected strongly to Melchizedek Melchizedek was a lord. So basically in Quick, quick wording, he is an Ascended Master, which means he's a leader on on in the dimensions like on the other side, he leads seventh dimension. So he can go up to higher dimensions and come back down. So everybody with third dimension Melchizedek was a lord that lived pre Christ walked on Earth and was joyful was super happy. People were drawn to him. And he was so happy he would give off happiness into the room, whether he was talking or not talking. And Jen, a lot of Gen Z has that Melchizedek energy. And right now the metaphysical explanation is he controls color on the other side. So color has a vibration, every color has a different vibration. And he can alter Earth with the flip of a switch from color. And we will most likely walk outside after this and see a rainbow. Just so just so if we do we'll write something somewhere on the Instagram page. And so that's Melchizedek. It's hope he's very hopeful. And so a lot of times when I'm funny, and we're laughing, we're connecting to Melchizedek energy. That silly like, yeah, oh, I love that. Yeah, I need love that you're silly. Yeah, it's true. So when if someone was interested in like zero balancing, what sort of thing is that record? Like? What would somebody presenting with that you would recommend that for them. So anyone who has a chronic problem, so chronic low back pain, I got chronic shoulder issue. In fact, sometimes when I'm working with someone with acupuncture, and we're not really getting anywhere as much as I thought we would, I'll put them on the table and I'll, I'll just pick up their feet and I'll say, oh my gosh, okay. All right. So then I'll do a zero balancing to clear whatever I can, and then we can go back to acupuncture, because they work differently. So I think if you're looking to get rid of something that is rooted deeply, whether it's a belief system, whether it's an old injury, perfect case was I treated this guy with zero balancing for low back pain, right? Because that's what he needed. And he called me like, a day after he's like, when my wrist is really killing me. What what did you do? And I said, I don't really remember really touching your wrist. But let's talk about that. He goes, Well, you know, it feels just like when I was in that motorcycle accident when I was 18. And they brought me to Anna Jakes and they had to set my wrist without anesthesia. It hurts so Bad, he said, but then he said, you know, two days later after the Zb, I don't have wrist pain anymore. Wow. And I thought, okay, so obviously the low back pain needs to be worked on. However, we cleared the really old pain that he totally forgot about because he lived with it for so long. Wow, he just forgot about his wrist. But then I love all of them. I love I could listen to you all day with all these stories. Yeah. 22 years leave that. I got a lot. And how the how pain it moves around the body? Oh, yeah. As its energy moves. Yeah. Oh, that's cool. And the body decides what's going to do? Yeah, you know, we think we're in charge. Now your body is in charge. Totally. Your body is in charge. So whatever releases is what your body was willing at that time to release? Yes. Yeah. Great. It is. So do we talk about where they can find you? Come in, I'm coming to find you. I'm writing it down. Where do we find you? So you can visit my website, which is the access clinic.com. Or you gonna call me and you know what? Text me because if you leave me a long voicemail, I probably am not going to listen to it till the end of the day.
